6 habits for people and why they are inhabitable for any lock down situation
Any lock down or isolation situation due to natural calamities like pandemic, earthquakes, tsunami, cyclones etc. are unforeseen events in one’s life. As humans are intellectual pygmies in the grand scheme of things it is impossible to stop these events but only one can equip oneself better to handle these events gracefully without much impact to overall physical and mental well-being of oneself and other. Let’s see the six habits below and how having these and enhancing these will bring in contentment and less dependency on experiences beyond one’s home. In any tough situation it is possible to at least follow one of these habits or combination of them as long as one is alive and active.
1. Inner Travelers
This is the most important of all the habits. Life is a journey of many paths. The microcosm, macrocosm and universe are in constant motion. Our hearts, legs and the earth are all moving in space and being confined to a space within a boundary affects ones range of outer experience. In the long run the outer experiences are never satisfying as there is want of more and more.
Movement and experience are familiar companions but a mind which has experienced the inner dimensions will never go back…
