Space X of Elon Musk is a living example of the “CUP” method in action. Everyone has the potential to be rich if the intension is there!
Richness is a mentality. It is a growth mindset. It is said that “ If you are born poor, it is not your fault; But if you die poor, it is totally your fault”. If one looks around and sees, most of the billionaires of today were ordinary people like you and me, but the difference is that they had the intend to change their direction towards achieving significant heights in life with sustained efforts. J.K Rowling, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and many others weren’t born with silver spoon in their mouth and are prime examples of using the “CUP” method to achieve what is desired from impossible to possible.
The “CUP” method consist of three elements, which are Concentration, Understanding and Practice. If one keeps applying the “CUP” method incessantly in one’s life, in ones field of interest, then success is guaranteed sooner or later. Lets discuss about the three elements in detail:
- Concentration:
Concentration is the key and distraction is the enemy of progress. This is the first step to achieve something in life. A wavering mind is devil’s workshop as it takes one to land nowhere. A concentrated mind makes one to focus on tasks on hand and what one wants to achieve with that. After deciding on what to achieve in life, it is required to focus on it. The focus gives clarity of thoughts and clarity gives rise to confidence to move forward. Distractive mind is like a fluttering butterfly which needs to be overcome with unwavering concentration. When we look around, there is always something to focus upon, to change it, to make it better.
In the case of Elon Musk, he always wanted to solve human and societal problems to makes lives better with involvement of technology. There was always a necessity or frustration in him to change the world for better. After co-founding PayPal, he envisioned his long cherished dream of starting space exploration technologies and started highly concentrating on it thereby blocking unwanted thoughts. In the process, took lot of risks by investing his own money but the final outcome was the birth of “Space X”.
