Issue of harvest starving hundreds of creatures even on subsistence farm?
How my little harvest going to starve hundreds of creatures? They have plenty to eat in nature. Moreover I’m not going to consume everything I produce. There is always scope to share with the needy . This is what which sets humans apart from animals largely- Altruism. Also , nature had already this into consideration that when food is plentiful it can be consumed and stored as fat and can be used later when scarce seasons happens.

Suppose if someone teaches you now how to cut the throat of a live sheep, peel its skin , collect its blood and then butcher into pieces, would you be capable to follow the instructions one by one? If your issue is about getting dirty or wastage, I can understand your aversion, but I want to understand whether it is due to emotions.

My case, I will eat any vegetable if they are healthy. I will not eat a single animal even if they are healthy as I see myself in them as my senses react to their suffering. It is purely emotional decision as described in my article. Compassion to all animals irrespective of pet or wild. Doesn’t it a larger identity? If in future I see myself in all plants then I go beyond being a body making machine.
